6th Annual Food & Farming Summit. January 31 and February 2
Click HERE for a report from Sharron May of May Farm about the 2014 Summit.
Click HERE for a trascript of Patty Cantrell's talk Making Economic Sense of Local Good Food
We had a good turnout (over 100) and a great program on January 31. Short presentations by many food and farming innovators were the afternoon focus. I hope we will get more summaries linked here soon, but for now click here to access a transcript of Patty Cantrell's talk, one of the best and most compelling of the afternoon's presentations.
This year's Summit is planned in two parts and to coincide with the Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference in Traverse City on February 1.
- Both Summit events are free though donations will be gratefully accepted to help pay for the film rights (Suggested donation: $5)
- Friday's events begin at 3 p.m., Sunday's at 10 a.m., both at the InsideOut Gallery in Traverse City (more details below)
